You will also find at the campsite, a launderette, a library / box of books and the possibility of renting bicycles to cross the island hair in the wind!

Bakery, snack-bar And Bar Lounge
OUR BAKERY
During the whole season, at our bakery you can find as soon as 08:00 am fresh bread, puff pastries and good coffee from fair trade to help you wake up in a gentle mood. Our bread and puff pastries are cooked on the site.
In July and August, from 08:00 am to 11:00 am, you will even be able to treat yourself to a full delicious French breakfast which includes:
- ½ baguette
- 1 puff pastry (croissant or chocolate croissant),
- 1 organic orange juice,
- 1 tasty local jam (confiture du Clocher île de Ré),
- Butter from the Viète,
- 1 choice of drink: fair trade coffee, loose tea, hot chocolate.
OUR SNACK BAR
Feeling peckish? In July and August, our snack offers tapas style bites along with a glass of île de Ré wine.
OUR LOUNGE BAR
Comfortably sitting on our wood terrace, enjoy the long summer evenings! Our Lounge bar offers in July/August:
For a good meal:
- a plate of oysters
- a plate of organic shrimps
- tapas to nibble onwith a glass of cold white wine.
For refreshments:
- local organic beer La Rocheloise
- wine and pineau from the île de Ré,
- fruit juices
Our other Services
The Camping Les Baleines also offers a whole range of 3* services to make your daily life easy:
- a small grocery shop for little emergencies and local products at the reception (at reception opening hours),
- 5 Charcoal barbecue areas free to use. Please note: only electric and gas barbecues are authorized on the rented pitches,
- a laundry with 2 washing machines and a dryer. Tokens are sold at the reception: 4.50 € to wash, 4.00 € to dry. An ironing table and an iron are at your disposal for free,
- Free access to WiFi around the reception, and the snack bar - bakery, the sanitary block 1 and the children playground. At Les Baleines, if you wish to, you can really live a “switched off“ holiday!
- a library / book box at the reception: take the opportunity to read during your holiday! Borrow or swap books in our little library,
- bicycle rental at best rates or roadster type bicycle with basket and lock, children bicycle, bicycle trailers, tandems, helmets and bike child seat.
